Our client, a practice firm on the Southside of Dublin are seeking a Senior Manager to join their team.
This firm has been established for over 30 years. The services they offer are specialised and include audit & assurance, taxation, company secretarial and outsourced book-keeping and payroll services. They also offer a range of corporate finance services including due diligence, insolvency, mergers, management buyouts etc.
They now seek a Senior Manager. This role is quite unique as the focus will be 50% on managing and driving audit assignments and the audit team, however you will also can work on all other services on offer.
Reporting to the Partners, the role involves managing, motivating, developing and driving a team at various stages of their ACA qualification and career. Along with planning, budgeting, and billing of client's audits and leading fieldwork on larger assignments, you will also get involved in a variety of other projects around corporate finance, accountancy and taxation if you wish.
- Planning and managing assignments
- Delegating work to the team
- Supervising work of staff including carrying out staff appraisals
- Monitoring work in progress
- Compliance with auditing/accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Liaising with the tax and company secretarial departments to ensure compliance
- Identifying where additional services may be provided to current clients
This is a very busy practice with a steady client list.

To be considered, you will be ACA qualified and be at Manager level within a small-medium sized practice with an excellent track record of people and client management.
Salary: Up to €85,000 basic + benefits package.
