The Trade Compliance Manager(s) will be responsible for import/export compliance program regarding operations primarily in the EMEA region and other related jurisdictions. This role focuses on ensuring that the business is conducted efficiently and at all times in full compliance with all import and export regulations in each applicable country, as well as all internal policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be dynamic global trade compliance professional who is able to utilize business judgment, prior experience, and creativity to understand the business and market dynamics, and then implement effective strategies. Experience with applicable import and export regulations, procedures development, government interactions and dispute management, valuation, Intrastat, trade programs and special regimes requirements, and training skills will be instrumental in successfully performing the role. She/he should also be able to obtain internal buy-in to drive strategy development and implementation of compliance initiatives and dispute resolution. Candidates should be structured and analytical thinkers, data-driven with strong technology capability. Excellent communication skills in English are required, including concise verbal and email communication, clear visuals, and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders. Top-tier global trade experience, including with a law or consulting firm and/or multinational company
5-10+ years of relevant professional experience
Technology and/or automotive industry experience is desirable
Experience with global trade compliance is required.
