My client leads a team of IT Security Network Engineers. This team are responsible for supporting the underlying network and security infrastructure that all other high level cyber security teams utilise.
Ideally you would have experience of installation and configuration of firewalls, endpoint security, DLP or any other combination of security infrastructure.
There are 7 Engineers currently working on the team all reporting directly into the IT Security Engineering Manager. Each Engineer is given responsibility for a number of key security projects to be delivered throughout 2020. The role is broken down roughly into 70% project work and 30% security and network operational work.
The role will suit a strong network engineer with a good solid knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP etc who may already being carrying out security tasks as part of their role. You may now want to forge a total security career for yourself. The hiring manager will train and certify to CISSP level. You will have the opportunity top work on very exciting global security projects. Big one currently is a roll out of a IAM system.
