Stelfox has exclusively partnered with an innovative Fin-Tech company that is helping traditional banks and financial institutions unlock their existing legacy systems through digital transformation, using its cutting-edge Open Banking Platform and advanced API-driven solutions.

The company has recently opened an office in Ireland and is basing their Global HQ from Dublin however they are a Remote-first organisation (even before Covid) which allows them to hire from anywhere within Ireland or the E.U and further a field.

Our client has built an advanced Open Banking platform based off Open Source technology and already have multiple banks deploying their system across different global regions with the plan to move further into the European market.

We are looking to hire a Production Support Lead who can technical lead any troubleshooting issues with customers (Enterprise level) as they occur. You will be supporting an advanced and robust real-time/24x7 banking platform (built on Open source - Linux, Python, Golang, Kubernetes etc)

You will have strong troubleshooting ability on Linux and Networking issues (protocols) and other relative areas like APIs, Databases. As the system is operational your role will be to figure what is happening on the system when things go wrong.

What you will need:

Degree, Masters or equivalent in Computer science/IT.
Minimum 4-8 years commercial expeirence in a Product / Software / Application support roles, prebably within a 24x7 production grade environment
Team Lead / Lead experience a big advantage when leading resolutions of customers issues and guiding other junior support teams members.
Solid technical awareness to support issues linked to an online platform (Server issues, Database connectivity, API/webservices, Networking / web protocols and so on)
Excellent troubleshooter / problem solver with a strong grounding in Linux and Networking specifically.
Good attention to detail and the ability document and evolve the processes internally to ensure progression within the team
Ability to build relationship both internally (Engineering team, Sales, Product etc) as well as externally (Customers).
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working in a remote working team setting with colleagues and team members in other locations.
