With the recent ongoing's, they have opted to take staff on an initial contract basis with the opportunity of permanent assignments thereafter if performance levels are satisfactory
Your new role
Your new role is on a 12 month contract basis to assist in a period of growth and expansion for the organisation. The position is initially office based with site visits expected during the duration. You will be part of the surveying department on the construction side more so than fit out. There is a senior Quantity Surveyor within the organisation but the company are looking for a candidate of any level. Although, an individual with 3+ years experience in a similar assignment will have an advantage) Some of the responsibilities are outlined below:
Preparation of monthly valuations, attending site meetings where required, project cash flow projection and management, negotiating new projects and fixed price premiums which are cost effective, reviewing tender enquiries and tender analysis for projects and final account preparations at the end of the project to name a few.
What you'll need to succeed
The requirements for this particular assignment are listed below:
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Displays through understanding of specifications, bills of quantities and drawings, Proven track record in commercial and residential projects, Excellent organisation and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at once and Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Project / PowerProject and other packages such as Billsoft
What you'll get in return
In return for this you will be contracted and paid on a salary basis. Depending on your level of experience the salary has been capped at between €55,350 and €68,560 for more senior personnel. You will be contracted on a 37.5 hour week. You will operate this way on an initial 12 month assignment. Thereafter the organisation may opt to offer a permanent salary with standard benefit packages and salary review etc if performance levels have been met.
