THE COMPANY: Our client, a global capital equipment manufacturer, is now looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the Republic of Ireland as they grow their Irish sales team. They have well-established relationships built with many of the large Food and Beverage companies here in Ireland and have a reputation for high quality products and services.
The Role: You will join the sales team, selling their full range of end of line machinery into the end-users dealing with production managers, financial controllers, directors, buyers and procurement. You will be covering the Republic of Ireland. This is a new business role, so you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities throughout your designated territory. Full product training provided.
THE PERSON: You will ideally come from a capital equipment sales background, with experience selling high-value products with a long lead time. Experience selling into the Food and Beverage industry is highly desirable. If you are looking to work for a global market leader then this is the role for you. To be considered for the role you must be immaculately presented with a strong commercial acumen. Traits for the ideal candidate include being a new business hunter with a strong work ethic, and the ability to nurture a fairly slow paced sales process.
