Senior Financial Accountant (Maternity Contract)

Overview of the role:
Senior financial accountant required to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will work within a finance team of 20 and will hold a senior position within the team.
This is an operations heavy role, dealing with sites across Ireland. The team also communicate with the shared service department in the UK and internally with management and operations.
Day to Day Duties:
Budget forecasting ensuring budget targets are being adhered to and met
Management of working capital
Developing and setting targets or action plans where necessary
Internal control including external audit
Oversee invoicing and accounts payable/receivable
Raising and querying purchase orders
Managing queries on YTD spend
Billing on behalf of clients
Monthly reporting performance to the FC and Operations Directors
Experience required for success in this role:
Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
5 + years’ experience in a similar role
Experience working within a similar environment would be beneficial – dealing with multiple sites and vendors
Strong IT/Systems skills (SAP/Google would be advantageous)
Strong communication skills
Results focused individual with a proactive positive rapport
