Senior Reinsurance Technician
This is a very varied role with a reinsurance team that covers both Operational and Technical Reinsurance Accounting.
Part of the role will cover oversight and quality control checking of an outsourced function. This will include review of reinsurance recovery accruals on paid claims and reinsurance recoveries on outstanding claims. Calculation, review and recording of reinsurance premium adjustments. Preparation and review of quota share bordereaux reports. Reconcile and review ceded financials within the group reinsurance calculation engine. Responsibility for the reinsurance financial month end process. In addition, you will liaise with the wider Finance function on reinsurance issues, reporting and cash management including Provision of quarterly ceded information packs to Group. Preparing reports for the International Reinsurance Committee. Provision of ceded information to Financial Reporting team for use in Quarterly returns. Involvement as a SME in any local and group projects encompassing reinsurance to ensure that all of International's requirements are met.
