Site Engineer - Commercial Build - Long Term Rolling Contract - Main Contractor - Multiple Sites

Your new organisation are one of Ireland's most lucrative and successful contractors that operate a cross industry business, covering the areas of commercial, residential, civil, infrastructure and data centres. They are currently expanding their workforce on an initial contract / probation basis. There is work all across Dublin and successful individuals have the opportunity to go permanent with the contractor if that is the preferred route and work levels are met.
Your new role
Your new position is as a Site Engineer on a busy, fast paced Commercial site in Dublin City Centre (Although there are numerous vacancies across different Dublin sites) You will be an onsite engineer assisting the project team with works to help drive the project to completion. It is typically a 45-50 hour week and you are paid for every hour on site. All levels of site engineers are required whether you are at a junior stage or have 10+ years as a senior engineer.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, it is expected you have experience in a similar fast paced construction environment within the Irish or UK market. You must be competent with total station and GPS with strong setting out capabilities where required. Management of engineering or site teams is also valued highly. It is expected that you are a qualified engineer holding a level 7 or above qualification. Being able to work on your own initiative and having strong interpersonal skills are also desired.

You will operate on a contractual probation period initially to ensure you are capable of carrying out required works. This may then lead to a permanent assignment with the company if that is what you are after. If not, remaining contracting is also an option. On the contract you will be paid for each and every hour you work which is a great way to benefit financially. Depending on your experience level, hourly rates are in the bracket of 23 - 35 per / hour. This is negotiable and if offered a permanent position in the future this will be reviewed with added bonus's etc.
