Technical Support Engineer Galway
The Role
My client is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team due to continued expansion. You will provide technical support for their products and maintain the high-level of customer satisfaction that their customers expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Be able to conduct research into technical issues
- Have strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Be able to document procedures and processes to create knowledge-based articles
Key Requirements:
- 2 years' Experience
- Degree Educated
- Have a good understanding of TCP/IP and protocols, specifically SMTP, DNS and HTTP/S
- Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, etc)
- Cloud computing (AWS)
- Linux/UNIX operating systems (Ubuntu/FreeBSD)
- Cisco IOS (WCCP)
